How to Set up a Business Profile on Instagram
/Business Instagram accounts offer many benefits not available on plain old personal Instagram accounts. With a business account, you can access a variety of marketing tools like analytics, ads, contact options, appointment booking, and swipe up links in your Stories if you have over 10,000 followers. Today on the blog, we’ll be exploring the benefits of using a business account and how to set one up, whether you’re brand new to Instagram or converting over from a personal account.
Why Use a Business Account
Access to Analytics
On a personal account, you aren’t able to view any insights about how many people your account is reaching or what those demographics look like. With a business account, you can analyze your follower activity, how your posts are performing, when your audience is online, and much more. Instagram Advertising
Once you’re set up with a business account on Instagram, you can connect it to your Facebook page and start running ad campaigns on Instagram. Facebook and Instagram ads can be very affordable, and are a great way to increase your reach and get your products in front of your target audience.
Post Scheduling
Scheduling social media content has been a game changer for me as a professional social media marketer. It helps me be far more efficient by creating content in advance and scheduling it to auto-post at specific times when I know my audience is online. My favorite tool for Instagram scheduling is Planoly. You can’t schedule posts with a personal account, but once you switch over to a business account, you’ll be able to start scheduling content with Creator Studio or a third party tool like Planoly.
